3D Survey - Receiver Line Error

The client drilled unsucessfully into the fault three times when trying to follow the 3D interpretation of the incorrect survey. A $2.5 MM Mistake!! The original survey survey data was reprocessed and a 750 foot error was found (see above), and when the seismic data was reprocessed with the corrected survey data the 3D interpretation put the fault in the same position as found by the "drill bit".
